Job summary

Allstate Foundation seeks a Data Scientist Associate Manager - Remote to lead data science initiatives and guide junior data scientists toward scalable, cloud-based decisioning solutions. Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Python for data science, modelling, and production-ready solutions.
• Experience with R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch or other modern data science tools.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, observability concepts, and cloud security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, evaluates and communicates modeling approaches and results to ensure alignment with business processes.
• Develops and executes communication strategies to inform stakeholders on ML effectiveness.
• Collaborates with business units to design, build and deploy ML/predictive models across the enterprise.
• Understands business problems to identify optimal modeling approaches and develops reusable frameworks.
• Mentors and develops other data scientists on the team.
• Applies advanced statistical and ML techniques to improve data-driven decisions.
• Identifies data sources and tools to improve modeling capabilities.
• Plans and manages ML projects with limited team resources and tight deadlines.
• Leads a team with coaching and supervisory responsibilities.
