Job summary

Bestow is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Data & Analytics team. You will build and productionize ML models and agentic data products that empower business stakeholders. You’ll own the model lifecycle, from feature engineering to monitoring, while collaborating with engineering to deploy within Bestow’s pipelines.

The role emphasizes working with LLMs, driving adoption of self-serve analytics, and delivering robust, auditable AI-powered solutions for a regulated insurance domain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional data science experience with production ML/models and data products.
• Fluent in SQL; proficient in Python for data engineering and modeling.
• Hands-on experience building ML models, production deployments, monitoring, and drift detection.
• Experience with LLMs, agentic systems, and AI tooling like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Ability to translate business questions into scalable data solutions and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Build and productionize ML models from concept to deployment.
• Own feature engineering, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate models into existing pipelines.
• Develop internal analytics products: dashboards, self-serve reporting, NLP interfaces.
• Work with LLMs and agentic tools with proper monitoring and oversight.
• Drive stakeholder adoption and education for self-serve analytics.
• Automate recurring analytics tasks into robust pipelines and monitoring.
• Write production-grade Python and SQL with CI/CD.
