Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on data science or machine learning experience.
• 3+ years in people management of DS/Applied Science or ML teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with personalization, recommendations, search/ranking, or digital commerce.
• Strong ability to translate data science into product and business outcomes.
• Hands-on Python and SQL with large-scale data experience.
• Familiarity with cloud ML platforms and open-source AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Set DS strategy for personalization, recommendations, search, and product discovery.
• Build and coach a high-performing team of data scientists and ML engineers.
• Establish experimentation discipline linking model metrics to customer outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, UX, and business leaders to define problems and solutions.
• Develop reusable platforms and automate repetitive data science work.
