Bread Financial is seeking a Senior Manager - Data Science to translate predictive models into actionable business insights. You will lead a team of data scientists, drive analytics projects from ideation through delivery, and partner with executives to shape data-driven strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or Economics
• 10-13 years experience in building sophisticated models using machine learning, segmentation, time series, and other advanced analytics methodologies.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or other quantitative fields
• 14+ years developing machine learning models to deliver insights and solve business problems within a bank, credit card, retail, or insurance business.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years experience managing direct reports
• 1+ year experience in a client facing role
• 1+ year Agentic AI (AWS or Google) experience

Responsibilities

• Serve on the leadership team, provide managerial leadership to the data science team, drive insights into action, manage team goals, mentor staff, and recruit top talent.
• Lead the data science product discipline, partner with business on ideation, manage the roadmap, lead discovery & solution design, and ensure successful delivery of new capabilities.
• Guide adherence to compliance, security, and governance processes; lead the monitoring & maintenance of AI solutions.
• Engage with internal partners and clients to solve business problems with an emphasis on communication to the Senior Leadership Team and above.
