Job summary

CLA is seeking a Manager of Data Science to build and lead analytics and AI initiatives across the business. The role combines data wrangling, visualization, and advanced modeling, using R, Python, and other scripting tools to deliver scalable solutions.

You will mentor analysts, guide technical oversight, and partner with engineering, IT, and business leaders to productionize models, ensure governance, and drive new opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with APIs, web scraping, SQL/no-SQL databases, and cloud-based data solutions required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Bachelor's degree is required; combination of experience, education, and training may be accepted.
• Masters in Data Science/Analytics/AI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, development, and performance management of the analytics team.
• Oversee large-scale analytical and AI initiatives from data acquisition to insight generation.
• Translate business objectives into analytics priorities and deliverables.
• Partner with engineering, IT, and data platforms to enable scalable solutions.
• Communicate progress, risks, and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
