Job summary

Bread Financial is seeking a Senior Manager to lead enterprise-wide data governance across Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) in alignment with the Enterprise Data Strategy.

This role drives data management practices in a highly regulated banking environment, partnering with business, risk, legal, and technology teams to establish strong data controls, oversee metadata platforms like Collibra, and improve data quality for critical reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED and 10–13 years in Data Quality/Metadata/Data Governance.
• Leadership of a data management function for at least 3+ years.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and DAMA/DCAM certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement data management capabilities (cataloging, lineage, profiling, monitoring) and lead the roadmap.
• Engage across the organization to ensure role clarity, training needs, and ongoing improvements.
• Direct a distributed team across the U.S. and India, coaching and removing obstacles to meet objectives.
