Job summary

RTX is seeking a data engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and datasets that support analytics and decision making. You will integrate data from diverse sources, develop visualization and reporting solutions, and drive data quality and governance practices across cross-functional teams.

The role requires collaboration with customers and stakeholders, leading projects with agile methods, and producing comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or extensive experience in IT/Analytics or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics, BI, or related discipline.
• Experience with Power BI and SQL is required.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, warehousing and modern cloud data architectures.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and datasets for analytics.
• Integrate data from diverse sources including enterprise apps, spreadsheets, databases, APIs.
• Develop data visualization and reporting solutions to aid decision making.
• Improve data quality, governance, and documentation practices.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
• Lead projects with agile practices from design to implementation.
• Create technical documentation including data definitions and use cases.
• Provide guidance and mentoring within the PSD Data team.
• Apply security, governance, and compliance requirements to data activities.
