Job summary

Meijer in Walker, MI is seeking an experienced Data Scientist in the Data Science & Analytics department. The Analyst will develop and apply advanced analytic and machine learning solutions, collaborating with business partners to drive data-driven actions that impact sales, margin and profit.

You will deliver scorecards, leverage diverse data sources, and communicate results through dashboards and storytelling to influence cross-functional teams across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics or other quantitative field or Relevant Experience.
• Master’s Degree Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analytics and ML solutions across merchandising, marketing, supply chain, product flow, operations, and other areas to enrich business insights.
• Partner with business stakeholders to build relationships and drive data-driven recommendations.
• Develop scorecards and dashboards; analyze KPIs to monitor value of data products; communicate results to leadership.
