Job summary

Meijer Inc. offers an 11-week Store Analytics Internship program designed to challenge interns with real projects that impact the business.

Interns will work with the Store Analytics team to drive store productivity through data, analytics, and reporting, enhancing reporting strategies with IT collaboration. Prerequisites include progress toward a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field and strong Excel/office skills; familiarity with ETL, Python, SQL, and BI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a bachelor's or advanced degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field; 3.0+ GPA preferred
• Strong Excel and office-productivity skills
• Interest in data analytics and Retail operations

Responsibilities

• Work with the Store Analytics team to drive store productivity and operational improvement through data, analytics, and reporting
• Assist in day-to-day review, ad hoc report creation and partnering with IT for reporting updates
• Develop and apply analytical techniques and scorecards to inform business decisions
