Job summary

Meijer is offering a Data Science internship in merchandising and marketing to gain hands-on experience with machine learning and AI. Interns will work on real projects, interact with senior leaders, and learn about the retail industry while developing skills in data analysis and cloud tech.

Throughout the 11-week program, interns tackle challenging projects, present to executives, and participate in leadership speaker series, training, and networking events to accelerate career growth.

Qualifications

Pursuing or holding a degree in data science, CS, math, statistics, or related field.
Strong focus on delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
Ability to build positive working relationships with teams and leadership.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with data science projects and algorithms in merchandising and marketing.
Collaborate with product and business teams to define and implement data-driven solutions.
Work with cloud-based platforms and ML/AI tools to support summer projects.
