Job summary

Abacus Insights Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Quality Engineer to own the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of healthcare data powering our cloud-native platform. You will architect automated testing, lead validation strategy, and mentor QA engineers.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Product leadership to maintain high-trust datasets for health plans at scale, focusing on PHI security, HIPAA, and governance as the platform grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/IS/Data Analytics or related field or equivalent
• 6–8+ years in Data Quality and Data Engineering, healthcare experience
• Expert SQL skills with large-scale data manipulation and profiling

Responsibilities

• Architect automated data quality validation frameworks at scale
• Lead automated test strategies for healthcare data pipelines
• Drive root-cause analysis and remediation for defects
• Define and evolve data quality strategy and standards across pipelines
• Mentor junior QA engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
