Job summary

Abacus Insights is transforming healthcare data to empower health plans with faster, more accurate decision-making. We seek a Business Solution Manager who translates client needs into precise data requirements and actionable designs, bridging business and technical teams in a client-facing role.

You will own the requirements-to-design arc, write and validate business requirements, and guide data modeling and ETL design across multi-state and multi-client engagements, ensuring scalable, reusable

Qualifications

• 3+ years working in the US healthcare domain with healthcare data (claims, membership, benefits, or PBM).
• Payer experience with US health plans (Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial) preferred.
• Ability to write and execute SQL to analyze and prototype against data; data modeling awareness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to understand business context, use case rationale, outcomes, and success criteria.
• Translate use cases into clear, testable requirements with traceability to design.
• Document requirements and translate into a data/ETL design with data flows and rules.
• Define grain and structure of datasets to meet downstream reporting needs and reuse potential.
• Act as client-facing anchor, communicating between business and technical teams and ensuring clear hand-offs.
