Job summary

Fsas Technologies GmbH is seeking a Senior Solution Architect for Data Protection & Backup Strategy in Europe. You will architect complex backup solutions and lead PoC projects across Europe, partnering with Product and Sales teams to drive strategic data protection initiatives.

You will be the technical backbone for Pre-Sales, Post-Sales, and partners, ensuring market leadership of our backup solutions in hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in architecture, planning, and deployment of enterprise-grade backup and restore concepts.
• Extensive knowledge in two or more leading technologies (Commvault, Cohesity; Veritas NetBackup or Veeam)
• Fluent in German and English with ability to present to technical teams and executives
• Willingness to travel within Europe to support customers and partners on-site

Responsibilities

• Design high-level backup and restore solutions, evaluating IT concepts for feasibility, compliance, and future-proofing.
• Guide Product Management and translate market feedback into actionable roadmap items.
• Act as primary technical contact for strategic software partners (Commvault, Cohesity, Veritas) and assess latest features for integration.
• Lead PoC projects, deliver high-level technical presentations, and oversee critical implementations as Technical Lead (remote or on-site).
• Conceptualize and operate showcase architectures in Munich Demo-Center/Lab to demonstrate performance and reliability of data protection solutions.
• Define standards for deployment across Europe via technical documentation and advanced training concepts.
• Provide expert guidance to Post-Sales teams to assure successful deployment of backup solutions across Europe.
