Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. in Atlanta, GA / Dallas, TX / Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Retail Data Products.

You will bridge business and technology to translate requirements into scalable data solutions with trusted KPIs and governed, self-service analytics. You will partner with Data Product Leads, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to design data pipelines, curated datasets, and governance frameworks, ensuring high data quality and actionable insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in analytics, information systems, CS, or related field.
• 5–8+ years in business/data analysis, BI, or data product support roles.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with data platforms, data warehousing, and modeling concepts.
• Hands-on in requirements gathering, Agile delivery, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, metadata, and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and prioritize data and analytics requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into user stories, data definitions, and acceptance criteria.
• Support design and delivery of data pipelines, curated datasets, and data products.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and KPI reconciliation for decision-making.
• Lead data governance processes, quality rules, and data dictionaries.
• Contribute to SDLC activities, testing, and release management.
