Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. seeks a Principal Data Architect to drive the Retail data and AI architecture across Sandy Springs (Atlanta), GA, Dallas, TX, or Daytona Beach, FL.

You will define target state architectures for data, AI, and governance, leading design reviews and cross-functional collaboration with leadership and engineering teams. You will architect hybrid data platforms on Azure/Databricks/Google, shape MDM and data lakehouse patterns, and guide MLOps pipelines while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data architecture or related roles.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms in cloud environments.
• Strong background in AI/ML systems and MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Retail data and AI architecture blueprint.
• Lead architecture governance and design reviews.
• Mentor data & AI engineers and domain architects.
