Job summary

Designer Brands is seeking a Senior Analyst in Business Strategy and Analytics to join the DBI Analytics Center of Excellence. This role partners with multiple business units to turn data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth and efficiency.

Expect end-to-end development of analytical tools, data governance, and robust user support. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver timely analysis, guide leadership decisions, and mentor junior analysts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a corporate retail analyst, planning, or financial role.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, including MS Access.
• Proven track record of independently leading analytics initiatives and delivering measurable business impact.
• Experience with Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) application.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers accurate, timely reporting and analysis to support tactical operations, strategic initiatives and short and long term business decisions.
• Collaborates with cross-functional partners to identify analytic needs and develop ad-hoc and long-term solutions.
• Serves as a subject matter expert within Customer, Marketing, and Digital, providing strategic guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
• Analyze overall customer data trends to create and communicate actionable insights that help drive decision making.
• Interprets and translates complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences, including executives.
• Participates in business meetings and category reviews to stay informed on trends and opportunities.
• Drives continuous improvement of analytics processes, tools, and methodologies, with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency and business impact.
