We seek a Data Privacy & Protection Senior Consultant to lead client engagements, design and mature privacy programs, and translate regulatory requirements into practical controls and technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data privacy, compliance, security, risk management, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead client engagements or complex projects, including managing stakeholders, project execution, and deliverable quality.
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of U.S., European, and applicable global privacy regulations and privacy program operations.
• Strong technical aptitude, with demonstrated ability to understand, learn, and configure complex software platforms and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Hands-on experience independently configuring OneTrust, Osano, Transcend, Ketch, TrustArc, or comparable privacy management platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and provide effective project-level leadership to supporting team members.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engagement delivery, including client relationships, project execution, deliverables, and coordination of supporting team members.
• Act as Engagement Leader or contribute as a resource, leading meetings, managing expectations, and presenting findings and recommendations.
• Provide project-level direction to supporting Consultants, including assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and giving feedback.
• Ensure engagements are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with Zaviant's quality standards.
• Monitor engagement scope, milestones, dependencies, and utilization; address risks and delivery challenges proactively.
• Collaborate with designated Engagement Leader to support successful delivery of the overall engagement.
• Build trusted relationships with clients through effective communication, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Coach and mentor Consultants; contribute to methodologies, templates, and service offerings.
• Stay current on emerging privacy regulations, technologies, and industry practices.
