Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead pre-sales efforts for the Data Intelligence Platform. You will work with customers, product, post-sales, and partners to architect solutions, develop proofs of concept, and guide implementation to drive meaningful business outcomes.

You will travel to customer sites as needed. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in customer-facing roles, strong data architecture experience, and proficiency in Python/SQL/Scala/Java/R with cloud and open source

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role for big-data tech.
• Experience designing distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in Python/SQL/Scala/Java/R.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on Databricks solutions and architectures.
• Lead proof-of-concept projects and validate integrations.
• Develop reference architectures and demonstrations for customers.
• Travel to meet customers in your territory.
