Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Product Manager (Data Platforms) to define and lead the strategy, operating model, and multi-year roadmap for enterprise data platforms. You will partner across data engineering, governance, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable, well-governed data products that drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in product management, data platforms or data products, or senior business analysis roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Self-starter mindset with adaptability, resilience, and a strong focus on delivering outcomes.
• Experience designing business processes, governance frameworks, and operating models that support product delivery and adoption.
• Experience leading feature launches, platform rollouts, and change management across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data management principles including governance, quality, lineage, and integrity.
• Ability to build communities of practice and foster collaboration.
• Experience translating user needs into prioritized requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Experience defining and measuring platform success through KPIs and adoption metrics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; proficient in presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools (JIRA, Confluence) including backlog management and roadmap planning.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for enterprise data platforms.
• Design scalable product operating models, intake and prioritization frameworks, and rollout strategies.
• Translate business needs into platform features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, governance, and business teams to deliver scalable data platforms.
• Define platform governance strategy, use-case review frameworks, and adoption standards.
• Serve as trusted advisor on platform capabilities, data domains, and best practices.
• Lead platform user community and drive adoption, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
• Lead cross-functional programs and ensure alignment with business priorities.
