Job summary

BambooHR is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own BambooHR's core data platform—the foundational layer powering data, integrations, and AI experiences. You will shape canonical data models, define contracts, and enable faster product teams with a scalable data foundation.

You will collaborate with architects and engineering leads to make principled tradeoffs, ensuring the platform is easy to build against with clear upgrade paths.

Qualifications

• Strong data modeling capabilities.
• API design experience with clear contracts.
• Experience with data infrastructure and platform thinking.
• Proven ability to align multiple teams around complex technical decisions.
• Solid product management background and shipping impact.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data definitions across product and engineering teams to lock decisions.
• Drive multi-team, multi-quarter programs without direct authority.
• Partner with architects to trade off data modeling choices and communicate implications.
• Ensure the data platform has clean APIs, documented contracts, and upgrade paths.
• Show how platform decisions translate into real outcomes for integrations and AI features.
