Job summary

BambooHR is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape BambooHR's core data platform. You will own data definitions, contracts, and adoption, coordinating across product and engineering to ensure a scalable, AI-ready foundation.

This role focuses on internal use, enabling faster product teams, simpler integrations, and more accurate AI experiences. You will partner with architects and engineers to trade off design decisions, ensure robust data modeling, and drive platform investments that

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager in technical/data-focused roles.
• Technical depth in data modeling, API design, or data infrastructure.
• Proven ability to drive alignment across teams and stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the canonical data model across product and engineering teams.
• Partner with principal architects and engineering leads on data modeling tradeoffs.
• Ensure the data platform has clean APIs, documented contracts, and a clear upgrade path.
• Own data catalog and validation processes as new domains are onboarded.
• Measure adoption and coverage of the data model and identify gaps.
