Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Software Engineer III, Data Platform Operations in a remote-capable role based in the United States. You will develop and maintain data platform automation, monitoring, and governance to support analytics, regulatory reporting, and data exchanges.

The role emphasizes platform operations, incident response, and continuous improvement within a collaborative team. The position requires 4+ years in software engineering, a related degree or equivalent experience, and

Qualifications

4+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or related field or equivalent.
Ability to work mostly independently within a cross-functional team.
Practical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, Informatica, StreamSets, and related DevOps/DataOps tech.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software, automation, and platform capabilities across technologies.
Monitor platform reliability, performance, security, and operational readiness for production workloads.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and model release processes.
Investigate and resolve production issues involving data platforms and cloud infra.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production workloads and data services.
Contribute to design, development, and delivery of complex software features and automation.
