Job summary
CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Software Engineer III, Data Platform Operations for a remote role available across the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). The role focuses on platform operations, automation, monitoring, incident response, and governance across cloud and on-prem data platforms, pipelines, and services.
The candidate will design, implement, and maintain data platform capabilities, contribute to DevOps/DataOps practices, and collaborate with multiple teams to improve data
Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or a related field or an equivalent combination.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, or supporting software and automation in an enterprise technology environment.
- Ability to work mostly independently, manage assigned work, communicate risks, and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Practical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software and automation for data platforms.
- Monitor reliability, performance, security, and operational readiness of data platforms.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and release processes.
- Investigate and resolve production issues involving data platforms and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data products and services.
