Job summary

Gen, a global cybersecurity and fintech ally, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to join the MoneyLion Data Platform & Martech Engineering team. You will design, build, and scale data foundations powering analytics, customer engagement, and AI initiatives across the organization.

The role combines software engineering fundamentals with data architecture, semantic layer design, and cloud platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years designing, building, and operating production-grade data platforms.
• Strong experience with dimensional modeling, Kimball methodologies, and analytic data models.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, Spark, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience with data activation platforms and customer data platforms is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and data pipelines.
• Architect and maintain dimensional models and semantic layer architectures.
• Partner with Product, Martech, Analytics, and Engineering to translate processes into data contracts.
• Design and support activation platforms like Hightouch, Segment, Iterable, Amplitude.
• Develop AI-powered data products to improve productivity and engagement.
• Enforce governance, data quality, and security across the data ecosystem.
• Provide production support and mentor teammates.
