Job summary

Stream is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for Revenue Operations in Boulder, CO. You will own the data platform end-to-end, building ingestion and transformation pipelines that feed Looker Studio, Sheets, and Salesforce while steering the migration to Google Cloud.

You’ll design models with SQLMesh and BigQuery, ensure data quality and observability, and manage infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD tools in a fast-moving, hybrid team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production data platforms.
• Expert SQL and strong Python.
• Experience designing incremental, idempotent pipelines.
• Solid experience with BigQuery or another modern cloud data warehouse.
• Experience with ELT tooling: SQLMesh, dbt, dltHub, Fivetran, or Airbyte.
• Experience with orchestration and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Airflow).
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
• Strong data modeling: dimensional modeling and warehouse design.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the ingestion platform using Python/dltHub pipelines loading into BigQuery and integrating Salesforce, Stripe, Postgres, PostHog, and other GTM systems.
• Build the transformation layer with SQLMesh models and well-tested dimensional models.
• Improve reliability with data quality, observability, freshness checks, and monitoring.
• Own the platform infrastructure on BigQuery and GCP, plus Terraform and deployment workflows.
• Deliver trusted datasets to Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and internal CRM; run reverse ETL to Salesforce.
• Raise the technical bar by shaping engineering standards and reviewing changes.
