Job summary

Boulder Care is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own data infrastructure and business analytics, focusing on growth, marketing, and patient acquisition analytics. You will build scalable data assets and translate business questions into robust analytical workflows in collaboration with the Principal Data Engineer.

The role emphasizes data quality, governance, and enabling stakeholders with self-service analytics through Looker and dbt-powered models.

Qualifications

6+ years in analytics engineering or related roles.
Advanced SQL and hands-on data modeling with dbt.
Experience with BigQuery and cloud data warehouses.
Fivetran or similar ingestion tools; Looker/LookML development.
Strong stakeholder communication and data governance awareness.

Responsibilities

Build, manage, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to reporting.
Develop robust production-grade data models and schemas in BigQuery using dbt.
Collaborate with Principal Data Engineer on ETL/ELT workflows for scale.
Configure data ingestion pipelines with Fivetran across sources.
Translate business requests into structured data projects for leaders.
Design semantic layers and scalable Looker reports for self-service analytics.
Mentor analysts in SQL, dbt, and advanced analytics workflows.
Establish code reviews, version control, and testing practices.
