Qualifications

• 3+ years in software, platform, DevOps/SRE, or data engineering.
• 2+ years building or operating cloud data platforms or production data systems.
• Strong Python, pytest, and GitHub Actions pipelines for multi-environment deployments.
• Terraform experience managing Azure and Databricks resources.
• Production experience with Spark/PySpark and SQL, including batch and incremental ingestion.
• Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, and cloud components.
• DevOps/SRE style experience with monitoring, incidents, on‑call, and runbooks.
• Clear communication and ability to work with remote stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Platform Development: Build and maintain shared Python libraries and configuration-driven frameworks.
• CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code: Own GitHub Actions pipelines and Terraform coverage for Azure/Databricks.
• Operations, Reliability & Recovery: Support production, improve observability, and perform RCA.
• Security & Governance: Maintain Unity Catalog data controls and protect sensitive data.
• Domain Enablement: Onboard data sources and turn needs into self-service features.
