Job summary

Super.com is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform to join the Infrastructure team and own major data platform initiatives. You will design, implement, and scale data tooling and services, partnering with analytics, BI, and business teams to enable growth decisions and reliable data outputs.

The role emphasizes data governance, scalable architectures, and collaboration across stakeholders, with remote-first flexibility and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

5+ years of software/data engineering experience with Python and SQL.
Strong ownership in high-stakes situations and ability to adopt new tech quickly.
Experience designing scalable data architectures for large-scale data platforms.
Deep knowledge of database design, data warehousing, and distributed systems.
Ability to communicate complex tech details to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design architectural recommendations and implement them reliably.
Improve engineering standards through documentation and peer reviews.
Collaborate with analytics, BI, finance, sales, and product to meet data needs.
Champion data governance in engineering workflows.
