Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and own a global data platform underpinning our pipelines and BI. You will help expand ingestion, warehouse, and reporting, across multiple regions with a strong emphasis on robustness and observability.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of data engineering; proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools like Tableau, plus experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS Glue, Databricks, Snowflake or Spark-based pipelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Fluent SQL and strong data-modeling skills for warehouse design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and warehousing components.
• Develop data infrastructure across regions and enable BI reporting.
• Shape warehouse strategy and lakehouse tooling including Databricks.
• Define data contracts and manage batch/streaming trade-offs.
• Evolve warehouse schemas and ensure observability across pipelines.
