Job summary

Rad AI is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain a scalable data platform, pipelines, and management tools. You will work with researchers and stakeholders to understand data needs, own key projects, and ensure data quality and security in a fast-growing setting.

You will collaborate with an experienced team, implement robust data solutions, and help advance AI-driven healthcare initiatives across multiple datasets and environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Experience designing and building distributed data pipelines using big data technologies.
• Hands-on experience with scalable data infrastructure and data products in complex environments.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architecture for growth and efficiency.
• Define and extend internal standards for style, maintenance, and best practices for a high-scale data platform.
• Collaborate with researchers and stakeholders on data needs including model training and production monitoring.
• Own data engineering projects from design to maintenance.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security with robust validation and access controls.
• Evaluate and recommend data technologies and tools to improve efficiency.
