Job summary

Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company in Oklahoma City is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own and improve the enterprise data platform across on-premises and cloud environments. You will lead design, implementation, and monitoring of SQL Server, Azure SQL, Fabric, and related data services with a focus on reliability and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in database/data platform roles, with hands-on expertise in SQL Server HA/DR, Fabric, and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in database administration, data platform engineering, cloud engineering, or related technical role.
• Experience with SQL Server Availability Groups and HA/DR technologies.
• Experience administering SQL Server Agent jobs and maintenance processes.
• Experience in Microsoft Fabric administration and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot on-premises Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Design, operate, and support HA/DR solutions including Availability Groups and backups.
• Monitor and optimize database performance and storage utilization.
• Develop automation for routine platform administration and deployments using PowerShell, Python, T-SQL, and Azure tools.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Analysts, and Security teams.
