Job summary

Amazon Web Services, ProServe Analytics and Intelligence seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own the governed data platform and agentic infrastructure that powers analytics and AI workflows at enterprise scale.

You will architect and build the canonical datasets, establish data contracts, and drive architectural standards across the team, enabling production‑grade, observable, and SLA‑tracked data infrastructure for ProServe and its internal users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with one or more modern scripting languages (Python/Java/Scala/NodeJS).
• Experience with MPP databases such as Amazon Redshift.
• Experience providing technical leadership and setting data engineering best practices.
• Experience in data warehouse architectures, modeling, ETL/ELT, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of ProServe's data warehouse platform, including topology, isolation, access control, and migration sequencing.
• Lead design and buildout of canonical datasets across core business domains.
• Build secure, privacy‑aware data pipelines with monitoring, runbooks, and SLA tracking.
• Develop MCP interfaces for AI agents to access production data at scale.
• Design a graph‑based knowledge layer to support semantic data traversal.
• Provide mentorship and guidance on data engineering standards and reviews.
