Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own ProServe's governed data platform and agentic infrastructure at enterprise scale. Build a multi-tiered data warehouse, a graph-based knowledge layer, and MCP interfaces supporting analytics, ML, and AI agents from a single trusted source.

You will lead architectural decisions, set platform standards, and mentor engineers while partnering with BI, Data Science, and Data Engineers to deliver scalable, trustworthy data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with at least one modern scripting language (Python, Java, Scala, NodeJS).
• Experience with MPP databases such as Amazon Redshift.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.
• Experience in data warehouse architectures, data modeling, and ETL/ELT.

Responsibilities

• Data Platform Architecture and Governance: own ProServe's internal data warehouse platform and governance standards.
• Foundational Data Buildout: design canonical datasets for analytics, ML, and agent workflows.
• Pipeline Engineering and Operational Excellence: build secure, privacy-friendly data pipelines and manage monitoring and SLAs.
• Agentic Data Infrastructure: develop MCP layers for AI agents and ensure production-grade interfaces.
• Graph-Based Knowledge Layer: design a graph knowledge layer using Neptune or equivalent.
• Technical Leadership and Mentorship: define best practices, review designs, and mentor engineers.
