Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own ProServe's governed data platform and agentic infrastructure that powers enterprise-scale analytics and AI workflows.

You will architect multi-tier data warehouses, build a graph-based knowledge layer, and lead platform standards while mentoring engineers and translating complex constraints into actionable roadmaps for ProServe leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience in a modern scripting language (Python/Java/Scala/NodeJS).
• Experience with MPP databases such as Amazon Redshift.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.
• Experience in data warehouse architectures, data modeling, ETL/ELT and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and governance of ProServe's internal data warehouse platform.
• Lead canonical data buildouts and metadata standards for analytics, ML, and agentic workflows.
• Build secure, privacy-conscious pipelines with monitoring, runbooks, and SLA tracking.
• Develop MCP interfaces to enable AI agents to access context in production data systems.
• Design a graph-based knowledge layer (Neptune/Neo4j) for semantic data traversal.
• Provide technical leadership, reviews, and mentorship across teams.
