Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Delivery Consultant specialized in Data for the ProServe team in the AWS Industries practice. You will design and implement modern data platforms and enterprise RAG architectures to enable foundation models and AI agents in regulated environments.

You will work on data pipelines, lake, lakehouse, and mesh architectures with complex data lineage and legacy systems, delivering data products for ML training and agent orchestration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3).
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production-grade data pipelines, data lakes, lakehouses, and data mesh architectures within enterprise environments, integrating with legacy systems and existing data governance frameworks.
• Build data products that serve multiple downstream applications and use cases—from AI/ML model training to agentic AI systems, ensuring data quality and lineage.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy within fast-moving delivery engagements, making judgments on data modeling and architecture.
• Navigate complex data access, security, and privacy requirements.
• Architect contextual knowledge layers, including ontologies and knowledge graphs leveraging AWS Context, Bedrock Knowledge Bases, and custom ontology extensions.
• Collaborate across organizational boundaries to secure data access and resolve data quality challenges.
• Deliver iteratively when requirements are ambiguous, translating incomplete business needs into well-architected data solutions.
• Apply AI-DLC methodologies to redesign data workflows to become AI-native for accelerated scale and pace.
