Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own ProServe's governed data platform and agentic infrastructure for enterprise-scale analytics and AI. You will architect a multi-tier data warehouse, a graph knowledge layer, MCP interfaces, and canonical datasets powering analytics, ML, and agentic workflows.

The role requires taking ownership of data platform standards, guiding architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers.

5+ years of data engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Data Platform Architecture and Governance: Own the architecture and evolution of ProServe's internal data warehouse platform, including cluster topology, workload isolation, access control design, and migration sequencing at production scale.
Foundational Data Buildout: Lead the design and buildout of canonical datasets across ProServe's core business domains with governed metadata and reusable data objects.
Pipeline Engineering and Operational Excellence: Build secure, privacy-compliant data pipelines with monitoring, runbooks, and SLA tracking; participate in on-call and health reviews.
Agentic Data Infrastructure: Build MCP layer interfaces for large language models and AI agents to retrieve accurate business context with production-grade governance and SLA-tracked refresh pipelines.
Graph-Based Knowledge Layer: Design and build a graph-based knowledge layer for semantic data traversal across ProServe objects to support agentic workflows.
