Job summary

Bevi is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own the foundational data platform for analytics, AI, and ML initiatives. You’ll architect, implement, and govern end-to-end data pipelines spanning ingestion, transformation, and self-service BI.

You will collaborate with Data Science and cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and continuously evolve the platform to scale with company growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform engineering with ownership of a full production data platform.
• Expert with modern cloud data stack tooling: Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, and a modern BI layer (Looker or similar).
• Fluent in how AI tools consume data — governance and access patterns for LLMs/AI agents.
• Experience building the observability layer: monitoring, alerting, lineage, data quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the full data platform — ingestion, modeling, self-service, CI/CD, and visualization with standards and governance.
• Design scalable data architecture and data flows to enable analytics, AI, and ML initiatives.
• Partner with Software/ Hardware/ Product/ Operations to translate complex data needs into production-ready solutions.
• Build a governed self-service model with permissions, peer review, and end-to-end lineage.
• Evolve AI data connections, governance, and guardrails for scale and accuracy.
• Lead and mentor engineers within the Data & Data Science org.
