Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build scalable data platforms and intelligence capabilities that power the next generation of AI models and applications. You will own components for data ingestion, behavioral analysis, dataset generation, and experimentation for large language models and AI agents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years in design/architecture of large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals (transformers, training/inference).
• Experience with at least one programming language.
• Experience partnering with scientists or ML engineers to build production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable systems transforming customer interactions into datasets and insights for model training and evaluation.
• Develop data intelligence capabilities to identify patterns and improve ML models and learning signals.
• Build pipelines and self-service tools for data ingestion, filtering, sampling, and dataset generation.
• Collaborate with scientists to define metrics and analyze experiments to improve data quality and model performance.
• Develop agent-driven workflows for data curation, anomaly detection, and continuous model improvement with strong privacy and security.
