Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Data Infrastructure Engineer to help scale our data platforms and enable data-driven decision making across engineering, product, and business teams.

You will contribute to long‑term technical roadmaps, lead critical data infrastructure projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to define backend system roadmaps. Strong leadership and 6+ years of software engineering experience are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience in data infrastructure or platform domains.
• Hands-on experience delivering projects within data infrastructure, warehousing, lakehouse, Spark, or streaming.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute toward the long-term technical roadmap for data-driven and ML iterations.
• Lead data infrastructure projects (ETL, data pipelines, offline streaming, data warehouse/lakehouse evolutions).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define roadmaps for backend systems and abstractions across the company.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and reduce operational burden for the Data Platform.
• Mentor and grow engineers and review technical documents and code.
