Job summary

Fortified Data seeks a Senior Consultant to lead data warehouse and lakehouse work within our Professional Services team. You will design and deliver data solutions on Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric, guiding clients through modernization of legacy reporting and data estates.

You will mentor consultants, shape engagement delivery, and contribute to Fortified Data's data platform practice. Strong Azure data services experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in data engineering, data warehousing, or database architecture.
• Led end-to-end data warehouse or lakehouse deployments on Databricks or Snowflake.
• Strong SQL skills and Python/PySpark experience.
• Experience migrating legacy data warehouses to cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead Professional Services engagements for data warehouse and lakehouse design and modernization.
• Design target-state architectures with dimensional/medallion models and data governance.
• Migrate legacy environments (SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS/SSAS) to modern platforms.
• Lead technical discovery with Account Executives and present recommendations to client stakeholders.
• Own scoping, solution design, and effort estimates for data platform proposals.
• Mentor consultants and review technical work across engagements.
• Help grow Fortified Data's data platform practice with reference architectures and accelerators.
