Job summary

Hitachi Vantara seeks a senior Solutions Architect with 10+ years designing enterprise data management solutions. This role owns technical architecture across data platforms, governance, security, and AI-ready data foundations for Hitachi environments.

You will craft reference architectures, validate patterns in labs, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and guide customers on governed, scalable data solutions for analytics and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Design production data platforms with governance, security, and compliance in mind.
• Translate complex concepts into customer-facing guidance and architectures.
• Hands-on validation of architectures in lab,POCs, or deployments.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, field, and customers to drive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architectures combining storage, open formats, query engines, and governance.
• Develop reference architectures for data lakehouse platforms using Iceberg, Parquet, Spark, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, and S3 storage.
• Document patterns for ETL/ELT, batch, and streaming pipelines for production deployments.
• Define guidance for metadata catalogs, lineage, quality, retention, and compliance models.
• Ensure architectures meet privacy, security, regulatory, data residency, and access controls.
• Validate interoperability between Hitachi platforms and data ecosystem components.
• Create customer-facing briefs, guides, white papers, demos, and best practices.
