Job summary

RSLI is seeking a Senior Enterprise Data Platform Architect to lead architecture across the data lake, data warehouse, integration, and AI-ready capabilities. The role involves defining target-state architecture, guardrails, and patterns, while guiding engineering teams through complex design challenges, both onsite and with partners.

The candidate will mentor architects, set data quality and observability standards, and drive architectural alignment across business subject areas such as

Qualifications

• Expert in enterprise data platform architecture and standards.
• Experience leading architecture design reviews and mentoring engineers.
• Knowledge of data quality, lineage, observability for analytics, ML, and AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Owns architecture direction across major capabilities of the enterprise data platform, including ingestion, storage, processing, data warehouse, integration, metadata, semantic layers, lineage, observability, security, and resilience.
• Develops and maintains the platform target-state architecture and transition roadmap for unified business subject areas.
• Designs and resolves the most complex platform architecture problems, including cross-component data flows and data-conversions into new systems.
• Defines reusable reference designs, guardrails, and nonfunctional requirements for scalability, performance, resilience, and cost effectiveness.
• Leads design sessions and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with standards and maintainable practices.
