Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior data architect to own the AgentExchange data platform in Seattle. You will consolidate telemetry, analytics, and ML signals into a single, trusted data foundation and shape the contract model used across engineering teams.

You'll partner with executives to set long-term direction, lead migration efforts with zero disruption, and mentor the Data Engineering & Analytics community.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software / data engineering with ownership of enterprise-scale platforms.
• Deep architecture across lakehouse/warehouse, streaming/batch, feature stores, model serving.
• Cloud-native data infra: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks; AWS.
• LLM systems in production: RAG, embeddings, vector stores, evaluation, cost/latency tuning.
• Knowledge of MCP or equivalent tool and safe data exposure to agents.
• Data security and governance including PII, multi-tenant isolation, access controls, GDPR/CCPA.
• Experience representing technical domains in cross-org architecture forums.
• Executive communication: defend architecture to CTO and explain trade-offs.
• Related technical degree required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data architecture and 18-month roadmap for AgentExchange data platform.
• Define data contracts and ensure pipeline reliability across teams.
• Develop self-service analytics dashboards and data 360 integration.
• Champion ML platform including feature store and model serving.
• Architect LLM- and agent-native data layer with secure data tools.
• Set data security and governance standards for PII and multi-tenant access.
• Represent data in VAT reviews and align Platform Services with others.
• Lead migration of existing pipelines with no disruption.
• Mentor and grow senior ICs in Data Eng and Analytics.
