Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior data architect to own the AgentExchange data platform, consolidating telemetry, partner analytics, and ML signals into a unified analytics destination.

You will partner with executive stakeholders, shape the long-term technical direction, and mentor the Data Eng & Analytics teams. This role requires 10+ years in enterprise data/ML, cloud-native infra, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/data engineering with ownership of enterprise-scale data or ML platforms.
• Deep architecture experience in lakehouse/warehouse design, streaming/batch pipelines, or feature stores.
• Cloud-native data infra on AWS and at least one of Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift/Databricks.
• LLM systems experience in production: RAG, embeddings, vector stores, and evaluation.
• Familiar with MCP or equivalent agent protocols and safe data exposure to agents.
• Data security and governance as a first-class skill across multi-tenant environments.
• Track record influencing cross-org architecture and executive stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication and ability to defend architecture decisions.
• Related technical degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end data architecture for the AgentExchange data platform.
• Lead data contracts, schemas, and pipeline reliability across teams with SLOs.
• Own ML platform components: feature store, training/serving infra, eval and monitoring.
• Architect LLM/agentic data layer and MCP-based access controls.
• Drive data security governance for PII, GDPR/CCPA, and audit readiness.
• Engage executives in VAT reviews and align cross-org standards.
• Mentor Data Engineering & Analytics org and raise craft standards.
