Job summary

The Dominion Energy Electric Distribution Design Center of Excellence is seeking a Senior Business Performance Analyst. This role transforms complex data into actionable insights, develops innovative reporting, and partners with stakeholders to boost performance and decision-making.

Essential duties include dashboards, KPI definition, data integration, governance, and automation initiatives. Storm restoration support and up to 25% travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-6+ years of relevant directly related work experience.
• Experience collecting, integrating, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources.
• Advanced expertise in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, performance metrics, and KPIs.
• Power BI or comparable reporting platforms; data visualization tools.
• SQL and relational data concepts proficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders; manage priorities.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Excel expertise for organizing, analyzing, and presenting data.
• Analytics adoption through documentation, training, or end-user guidance.
• Experience working with utility data preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analyses.
• Analyze and present business, financial, operational, and performance analyses.
• Collect, integrate, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to develop dashboards and KPIs.
• Partner with stakeholders to define priorities and translate questions into analytical solutions.
• Establish data quality controls, reporting standards, and governance practices.
• Identify and implement automation to improve data collection and reporting.
• Evaluate tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
• Develop automated methods to track workflow, performance, and efficiencies.
• Analyze trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Assist in storm restoration processes as needed; travel up to 25%.
