Subway seeks a Sr. Manager, Data Partnerships to align data definitions with stakeholders and ensure data trust for AI and self-service use. You’ll prototype with Claude and drive decisions on data meaning, not just what is built.

You’ll work with senior teams to resolve contested definitions, interpret data classifications, and hand off work to delivery when appropriate. This is a strategic data governance role.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years translating how a business runs into data definitions and governance.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders during disagreements.
• Ability to evaluate data grain and certification calls without building pipelines.
• Fundamental SQL and data engineering knowledge for grain calls.
• Comfort with prototyping using Claude and Claude Code for engineering.
• Deep understanding of Subway's restaurant and franchise economics.
• Background in business analysis, data governance, or analytics leadership.

Responsabilités

• Agree data definitions with stakeholders, own outcomes when there is no decision maker.
• Engage regularly with the business to understand operations and data needs.
• Decide on formal certification of definitions when needed.
• Prototype definitions with Claude/Claude Code for fast feedback.
• Review data sensitivity classifications and help prioritize requests.
