JPMorgan Chase in New York is seeking a Data Owner Senior Associate to lead data governance for the Banking Payments product. You will manage data created, provisioned, or consumed to support analytics, operations, and reporting.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and technology teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance, building scalable data models and documenting data structures for broader reuse and insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years in a data-related field.
• Proficiency in data management, governance, and modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies.
• Understanding of data quality, privacy, and security standards.
• Ability to manage delivery across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Create plans to develop and deliver product data to support objectives, analytics, and reporting.
• Identify critical data scope and document with metadata.
• Support analytics by identifying data needed for integration into platforms.
• Document requirements for data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Develop processes to identify and mitigate data risks (protection, retention, storage).
• Build relationships with data partners and consumers across business, tech, analytics, and risk.
• Track workstreams and KPIs to ensure data initiatives are delivered.
• Design and develop data models to support processes and analytics.
• Create and optimize database structures for storage and retrieval.
• Translate data requirements into technical specs for models.
• Maintain documentation of data models and processes.
