Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Wilmington is seeking a Data Owner for Banking Payments to lead governance, quality, and protection of data across products and analytics platforms. You will define a data roadmap and partner with product, operations, technology, and analytics to move initiatives forward.

You will shape how data is defined, provisioned, and consumed to enable better decisions, support advanced analytics, and ensure compliance in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a data-related field.
• Experience managing delivery across multiple workstreams with varying timelines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tight timelines and deliver strategic change.
• Proven ability to build internal partnerships and influence stakeholders.
• Strong leadership across products, programs, projects, teams, and/or employees.
• Structured thinking and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodology.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, Python, AWS, and Snowflake.
• Experience with AI-driven operational efficiency by leveraging AI tools to synthesize data definitions, auto-generate data quality rules and epics.

Responsibilities

• Build governance relationships across stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Establish data quality oversight for critical data exposed to consumers.
• Define and execute a product data roadmap supporting modernization and marketing initiatives.
• Direct processes supporting AI/ML initiatives and evaluate vendor solutions.
• Partner with product owners to identify, define, classify, and prioritize critical data.
• Support privacy initiatives across the firm in a regulated environment.
• Provide SME on Banking Payments data estate and governance tooling.
• Communicate roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
