Job summary

Sardine is hiring a Senior Data/ML Engineer to own data and ML infrastructure that powers compliance decisions. You will design pipelines, build feature platforms, and productionize fraud models, collaborating with data scientists, backend engineers, and fraud analysts.

You will work in a remote-first environment across the US/Canada, setting technical direction and elevating the team through design reviews and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production data and ML systems with ownership of pipelines and models.
• Fluent in Python and SQL; skilled with distributed processing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion layer and streaming/batch pipelines across platforms.
• Build and evolve feature platform for real-time and batch use by rules engine and models.
• Productionize fraud/identity ML models with training, monitoring, and retraining.
