Job summary

Halvik Corp is seeking a Senior Data/ML Engineer to strengthen Army Vantage with high-performance Python data processing and predictive ML capabilities. You will work across Python, Polars, NumPy, and ML frameworks to build, train, and refine models, ensure data quality, and deliver production-ready analytics within a government environment.

The role emphasizes integrating predictive models into end-to-end mission solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring robust data

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/Engineering/Data Analytics or similar field.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• 10+ years in data engineering with dimensional modeling for analytics/Reporting.
• Senior-level data engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with Polars and NumPy.
• Demonstrated predictive ML experience with Scikit-Learn, LightGBM, or XGBoost.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance data-processing and analytical workflows in Python.
• Prepare, transform, analyse, and validate data using Polars and NumPy.
• Develop, train, evaluate, and refine predictive ML models.
• Integrate ML capabilities into Army Vantage environment and end-to-end solutions.
• Collaborate with Foundry Workshop Developers to implement analytics in mission systems.
• Document methodologies, data-processing logic, and model details.
